A combination of coconut oil, olive oil and castor oil is also an old remedy. Heat the solution and then apply it on your hair roots. After application, massage your head gently to stimulate the hair follicles.

Aloe vera is an effective plant when it comes to promoting hair growth. If you have this at home, get one leaf and then peel off the skin. You will see the gel-like substance inside and that is what you will apply to your hair. Massage it on your scalp and leave for 10 minutes or even overnight before rinsing.

Apple vinegar can be used to rinse hair. All you have to do is mix one liter of cold water and one teaspoon of apple vinegar. The solution not only helps improve the hair’s condition but makes it shine as well. 

Lemon juice is a common remedy. This can be mixed with egg and beaten before applying on hair or mixed with curd and mustard oil. Leave it for about half an hour and then rinse well. Lemon is ideal for those with oily hair. 

For dandruff plagued scalp, add three to four drops of tea tree oil to a small amount of shampoo and use this to clean your hair.

Greasy Hair Solutions - Remedy for Oily Hair

There are ways you can help stop the grease from appearing but you have to work at it.

Do not wash everyday. The cleaner your hair is the more it can seep into your glands and harder it is to get rid of. When you do wash make sure you are washing with a cleaning shampoo and scrubbing the build up off. Take in mind that you also have to have a ph-balanced mild shampoo and lite scrubbing is recommended. Try to avoid conditioner at the roots, apply in the middle or on the ends.

Try to avoid oil in your daily food intake. And do eat more vegetables. You could visit your doctor but only after you check and consider your diet, drugs, alcohol, and your fatty food intake. Maybe it's time to change your shampoo. Ask your stylist what she or he would recommend. Avoid using shine products at all costs. Keep away from two-in-one shampoos and conditioners and any frizz serums.
To fix at the moment, rub a little Talcum Powder on your dried hair at the roots. Just make sure you wash it out. I wish they would event that magic product, but this will help until they do.
